Some of our favourite journeys
Wilsons Promontory National Park
The jewel in Victoria's crown and only two and a half hours from Melbourne, Wilsons Promontory has to be experienced to be believed. Teeming with wildlife and offering a variety of coastal and forest walks 'the Prom' as she is affectionately known is simply a stunning nature lovers paradise.
Our Wilsons promontory tour offers you an immersive nature experience, with walks to suit any age group or level of fitness, including strolls along the estuary or beach, forest walks or climbing a mountain to take in the awe inspiring views.
You may take the opportunity to get out on the water and take in the prom from a different perspective. Joining a Wanderer Adventures cruise is an unforgettable experience taking you on a journey out among the spectacular granite islands where you might just come across seals, dolphins, and migrating whales.
We actively seek out wildlife in the wild and our field guides will provide you with insights that come from a lifetime spent working in the Australian bush.
Great Ocean Road and 12 apostles
One of the world's most iconic drives and offering stunning coastal views, lush tall forests and charming coastal villages, the Great Ocean Road never disappoints us. We love to do things a little differently, avoiding the crowds by ducking down those hidden bush tracks to secluded spots and maximizing our chances to see wildlife in the wild.
Melbourne to Sydney coastal and wilderness tour
There are many ways to travel between Melbourne and Sydney , all of them wonderful experiences but we believe our Snowy mountains and coastal wilderness itinerary is the best way to experience this beautiful part of the world. Following the Snowy River through remote wilderness abound with native wildlife and taking in jaw dropping views this truly is an off the beaten path trip. We travel to Canberra where you have the opportunity to explore our nations capital and visit some of our icon attractions like the national arboretum and Australian war memorial
We then head across to the coast through the Southern Highlands and Illawarra taking in Fitzroy falls and Royal National Park before arriving in Sydney.
We recommend a minimum of three days to complete this trip with the option of tacking on some extra days to explore some of the amazing places within arms length of the Sydney CBD area including The Blue Mountains and Sydney's famous beachside suburbs.
Grampians National Park
Showcasing stunning panoramic views of the western district the rugged sandstone range of the Grampians national park is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. This spectacular natural sanctuary is rich in aboriginal culture, abounds with native flora and fauna, and offers spectacular waterfalls.
The Grampians region is also renowned for producing great wines and offers a plethora of great dining experiences.
A visit to the Grampians can be combined with a great Ocean Road round trip over two or even three days for a great Australian experience.
Melbourne airport transfers
Getting to the airport can ne a challenge on it's own , not to mention the pressure of making it on time to get your flight or the hassle of catching public transport after a long haul flight.
